We’re the Shilo family, Minnesota natives, owners of Heavenly Fresh, and now the proud owners of Heavenly Escapes Resort & Lodge on beautiful Lake Miltona.

Our journey began with a love for bringing people together through fresh food and genuine hospitality. Through Heavenly Fresh, our healthy eatery in Princeton, Minnesota, we discovered how much we value creating spaces where people feel welcomed, cared for, and at home. Whether we’re serving a meal, preparing a room, or welcoming a family for their vacation, we believe the little details, and the way a place makes you feel, matter most.

That passion for hospitality led us to a new chapter near Alexandria, Minnesota. The first time we experienced Heavenly Escapes, we saw something truly special: a peaceful lakeside setting filled with years of memories, traditions, and families returning to enjoy time together.

As the new owners, we’re honored to continue the legacy of this special property. We’re committed to preserving everything guests already love, the quiet mornings by the lake, afternoons spent fishing and swimming, conversations on the cabin porch, and evenings gathered around the campfire. At the same time, we’re thoughtfully refreshing the resort and introducing new improvements and experiences for the years ahead.
